Sea Life Sydney Aquarium Adventure!

We can all agree that animals bring joy to our lives. Studies have shown that interacting with them can also help reduce stress, improve social skills and offer many learning opportunities. It’s no wonder why visiting animals is always a delight for our participants.

On the 11th of January, some of our participants enjoyed a day at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. They discovered a lot of incredible sea creatures, including seahorses, jellyfish, turtles, stingrays and many more!

Aside from this, they had the chance to get up close to the cutest penguin colony in Sydney and walked through the shark tunnel. They watched the dugongs’ feeding session and met Pig, a rescued dugong from Forrest Beach in North Queensland.

Before heading back to Sunnyhaven, we stopped by the harbour for our afternoon snack. It was indeed a fun day, and we’re glad that our participants loved their weekend day out.
