At Sunnyhaven, our participants are always at the centre of everything we do. Although we organise group activities, we ensure that we spend time with each of them individually, which is just what we did with Alexis Landini.
On the 8th of May, Alexis and one of our staff members went to the Sydney Aquarium, a popular attraction in the city. Home to more than 12,000 animals and 650 species. Alexis was really happy interacting with turtles, dugongs, stingrays, platypuses, penguins and other tropical fishes in the aquarium.
After taking some photos with the animals, we headed to Darling Harbour where she had chicken teriyaki udon noodle soup for lunch. Alexis loves walking and she was really proud of herself as she clocked up 8,559 steps at the end of her trip. We’re so proud of you, Alexis!
